7’s Heaven!

They’re back!

The popular Olney 7’s tournament is back for another year.

The BIG day is just around the corner, Saturday 22 June and as it’s a sell out each year so arriving early is strongly recommended. The rugby starts from 10:30 am and the partying, well for some much earlier!

Rugby 7’s is the shorter, more spectator-friendly version of the game. Played at a frenetic pace and with an average of around six tries per game, it makes for a fantastic day to fill yourself with cheer, in more ways than one!

Everyone can enjoy a fantastic day of rugby along with various pitch side entertainment such as a Prosecco bar, Gin bar, BBQ Caribbean food, Belgium fries, pastures, farm chicken wraps, bouncy castle and children’s activities, as well as an all-day bar… and much more!

As the official team kit and merchandise provider Sport Punk will be sponsoring the Men’s Open Tournament with a BIG money prize of £500 to the winning team, and a handsome £250 for the runners-up. Let’s hope they both buy us a drink at the bar!

There’s also a Ladies Open and a Men’s Social tournament to make up the day’s festival of rugby. Culminating with live entertainment by GrooveStar, a hog roast to curb those midnight munchies and dancing into the wee small hours.
